One thing worth noting: the card quietly went live around 20 May 2026 and only got its formal press announcement on 19 August. If you applied earlier, you already have it.

Who Is Affected

Only salaried women can apply right now. Self-employed women are not eligible, though YES Bank’s credit cards head Anil Singh has said the bank is evaluating an extension to self-employed customers. Men cannot hold this card as primary cardholder.

Existing YES Bank cardholders are unaffected this is a new product, not a change to an old one.

What This Means for You

YES Rewardz redeem at roughly ₹0.25 per point through the vouchers catalogue, so 12 points per ₹200 works out to a 1.5% return on accelerated online categories, 1% on other online spends and 0.5% offline. That is decent, not exceptional, for an entry-level card.

Where the value actually sits is the fixed benefits. On ₹25,000 a month of mixed spending you’d earn roughly ₹2,700 in points a year, but both milestones add 15,000 points (about ₹3,750), the welcome and birthday vouchers add ₹2,000, and four lounge visits add roughly ₹4,000 if you clear the quarterly spend gate. Under the lifetime free offer, that’s a genuinely strong first year against zero fee.

Two catches. First, the lounge benefit is backward-looking you need ₹25,000 of spends in the previous quarter, so a new cardholder likely gets nothing in quarter one. Second, redeeming points costs ₹99 + GST each time, which quietly eats small redemptions. And no reward caps have been published yet, which is unusual — treat the 1.5% rate as unconfirmed until YES Bank’s MITC states a monthly limit.

If you’re comparing, the closest rival is the BOBCARD Tiara Credit Card, the other serious women-focused card in this bracket. See our best lifetime free credit cards list for wider options, or the YES Bank card hub for the rest of the range.
