It has also cut the fuel surcharge waiver on Zenith, Vetta and Altura Plus to ₹100 per statement cycle. Both changes took effect on 1 October 2026, as AU’s own pages had pre-announced.
What’s Changing

|---|---|---|
| Zenith forex mark-up | 1.99% | 3.49% |
| Vetta forex mark-up | 2.99% | 3.49% |
| Zenith fuel waiver cap | ₹1,000 | ₹100 |
| Vetta fuel waiver cap | ₹250 | ₹100 |
| Altura Plus fuel waiver cap | ₹150 | ₹100 |
What This Means for You
Zenith costs ₹7,999 + GST a year, and low forex was one of its main selling points. On ₹1 lakh of foreign spends you now pay ₹3,490 in mark-up instead of ₹1,990, before GST.
The fuel waiver still applies only to fills of ₹400–₹5,000. Zenith’s page banner still says “Lower Mark-Up Fees Of 1.99%” while its benefits section says 3.49%. Go by the 3.49% and confirm with AU before you travel.
