| Reward Type | Reward Points (4 points = ₹1) |
The SimplyCLICK SBI Card is SBI Card’s entry-level online shopping card, and the whole product rests on one number: 10 Reward Points per ₹100 at eleven partner brands, which works out to 2.5% back.
Everything else on the card is ordinary: 1.25% on other online spends, 0.25% offline, no lounge access, no insurance. So the card is worth ₹499 a year to you only if a real chunk of your spending lands at those eleven brands.
If your online spending is mostly Amazon and Flipkart, this is the wrong card, because neither is a partner.
Fees and features below are current as of 02 August 2026 and are taken from SBI Card’s MITC and the SimplyCLICK Reward Points T&C. Confirm on sbicard.com before you apply SBI has revised reward terms several times in the last two years.
Rewards & Benefits
Reward rate & earn structure
Reward Points on this card come in three tiers, and the gap between the top and bottom tier is tenfold.
| Spend type | Earn rate | Value back | Monthly cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online spends at the 11 exclusive partner brands | 10 RP per ₹100 | 2.5% | 10,000 RP |
| All other eligible online spends | 5 RP per ₹100 | 1.25% | 10,000 RP |
| All eligible offline spends | 1 RP per ₹100 | 0.25% | — |
| Rent, fuel, wallet loads, government payments, digital gaming | Nil | 0% | — |
The current exclusive partner list is Apollo 24/7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Domino’s, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, Swiggy, Tata CliQ, Yatra and GyFTR.
Two things worth reading twice. First, Amazon and Flipkart are not on the 10X list. Amazon appears in many older articles about this card because it was a partner years ago; it isn’t one now.
Buying on Amazon with this card earns 5 RP per ₹100, the same as any other online merchant.
Second, the caps are large enough that most people will never touch them 10,000 Reward Points in the 5X bucket means ₹2,00,000 of non-partner online spend in a calendar month. Once you cross a bucket’s cap, that spend drops to 1 RP per ₹100 for the rest of the month.
The SimplyCLICK Reward Points T&C also excludes a long list of transactions from earning anything at all: cash advance, balance transfer, Encash, Flexipay, offline fuel, rent payments (since 01 April 2024), government transactions (since 01 June 2024), digital gaming merchants (since 01 December 2024), e-wallet loads at partner sites, and utility bill payments made on the SBI Card website or app. Cleartrip and Yatra bookings made through affiliate channels also don’t get 10X.
Redemption Options & Point Value
One Reward Point is worth ₹0.25, so four points make ₹1. You can redeem through the SBI Card website, the SBI Card app, or YONO for gift vouchers, merchandise catalogue items, travel bookings, or as statement credit.
The redemption fee is where the value quietly leaks. SBI charges ₹99 per redemption on physical products, statement credit, and vouchers that are physically dispatched.
Redeem 2,000 points for a ₹500 voucher, and you’ve paid ₹99 for it an effective ₹0.20 per point instead of ₹0.25, a 20% haircut. Redeem 10,000 points (₹2,500) and the fee is a rounding error. Batch your redemptions.
Also note: since 01 April 2026, SBI caps statement-credit redemption at 60,000 Reward Points per month across eligible cards, with fixed redemption blocks. Points themselves expire 24 months after they’re earned.
Welcome benefit
An Amazon.in gift voucher worth ₹500, sent to your registered mobile number within 21 days of you paying the ₹499 joining fee. It is a one-time benefit valid for 12 months.
In effect, it cancels out your first-year joining fee, which is the honest way to describe it, not as a bonus, but as a rebate.
Milestone benefits
| Annual online spend | Benefit |
|---|---|
| ₹1,00,000 | Cleartrip or Yatra e-voucher worth ₹2,000 |
| ₹2,00,000 | Additional Cleartrip or Yatra e-voucher worth ₹2,000 |
Read the word “online” carefully. The milestone vouchers count your online spends only, whereas the annual fee waiver counts your total annual spend. So it’s possible to get the fee waived and still miss the ₹2,000 voucher.
These vouchers are also travel-specific. If you never book flights or hotels through Cleartrip or Yatra, ₹4,000 of vouchers is worth considerably less than ₹4,000 to you.
Dining benefits
There is no separate dining programme on this card. Domino’s and Swiggy are on the 10X partner list, so food ordering through those two apps earns 2.5%. Restaurant bills paid at the table earn the offline rate of 0.25%.
Travel benefits
None beyond the Cleartrip and Yatra milestone vouchers and the 10X earn on Cleartrip and Yatra bookings. No travel insurance, no priority check-in, no hotel programme.
Airport lounge access
None. The SimplyCLICK SBI Card offers no complimentary domestic or international airport lounge visits.
A few aggregator sites list spend-linked lounge visits for this card; that is not supported by SBI Card’s own product documentation. If lounge access matters to you, this card cannot deliver it at any spend level.
Insurance & protection covers
None. There is no air accident cover, no purchase protection, no lost-card liability cover packaged with this variant.
Fees & Charges
All fees below are exclusive of GST. 18% GST applies on top of every fee and charge, so a ₹499 annual fee actually costs you ₹588.82.
Joining & annual fee, and how to get it waived
| Joining fee | ₹499 |
| Annual (renewal) fee | ₹499 |
| Fee waiver condition | Total annual spend of ₹1,00,000 or more in the previous card year |
| Add-on card fee | Nil |
₹1,00,000 a year works out to ₹8,334 a month across all spends online and offline, partner and non-partner.
For most salaried users, this is a low bar. If you can’t clear it reliably, budget for ₹589 a year including GST and check whether the rewards actually beat that.
Forex markup
3.5% foreign currency transaction fee, plus 3.5% dynamic currency conversion fee on transactions of ₹1,000 or more billed in rupees at overseas merchants.
This is at the high end of the market, and you earn nothing on international spends at the 10X rate. Do not use this card abroad.
Interest rate & finance charges
Up to 3.75% per month, which is 45% per annum, charged from the transaction date if you don’t clear your total amount due.
The interest-free period is 20 to 50 days and is suspended entirely if any part of the previous month’s bill is unpaid. The minimum finance charge is ₹25 per transaction.
At 45% a year, revolving a balance on this card wipes out several years of 2.5% rewards in a few months. The card only makes sense if you pay in full every cycle.
Fuel surcharge waiver
1% waiver on fuel transactions between ₹500 and ₹3,000, capped at ₹100 per statement cycle per card account. Fuel spends themselves earn no Reward Points.
Cash advance & other charges
| Charge | Amount |
|---|---|
| Cash advance fee | 2.5% of amount, minimum ₹500 |
| Late payment | ₹100 to ₹1,300 depending on outstanding, plus ₹100 extra if MAD is missed two cycles running |
| Over-limit fee | 2.5% of over-limit amount, minimum ₹600 |
| Payment dishonour | 2% of payment amount, minimum ₹500 |
| Rewards redemption fee | ₹99 |
| Rent payment processing fee | ₹199 per transaction |
| Utility payments fee | 1% of total, if utility spends exceed ₹50,000 in a billing cycle |
| Education payment via third-party apps | 1% (w.e.f. 01 November 2025) |
| Wallet load above ₹1,000 | 1% (w.e.f. 01 November 2025) |
| Card replacement | ₹100 to ₹250 |
Cash advances carry no interest-free period; finance charges start on day one.
Eligibility & Documents Required
| Criterion | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Age | 21 to 70 years |
| Residency | Resident Indian |
| Occupation | Salaried or self-employed with regular income |
| Minimum income | Not published by SBI Card; commonly cited as around ₹18,000 per month |
| Credit score | No published cut-off; approvals generally easier above 700 |
Documents: PAN card; identity proof (Aadhaar, passport or voter ID); address proof (Aadhaar, passport, utility bill or driving licence); income proof (recent salary slips, bank statements or ITR); and a passport-size photograph.
SBI Card does not guarantee approval on any application. Eligibility is assessed on its internal credit criteria, and the credit limit assigned is at its discretion.
Pros & Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 2.5% back at eleven partner brands is strong for a ₹499 card | Amazon and Flipkart, India’s two biggest e-commerce sites, are not partners |
| Fee waiver at ₹1,00,000 annual spend is easy to hit | 0.25% offline earn rate is close to worthless |
| ₹500 Amazon voucher effectively refunds the first-year fee | No lounge access and no insurance covers at all |
| Up to ₹4,000 in milestone vouchers per year | Milestone vouchers are locked to Cleartrip and Yatra |
| Low income bar makes it accessible as a first card | ₹99 redemption fee eats 20% of a small redemption |
| Generous monthly caps that most users never hit | 3.5% forex markup makes it unusable abroad |
SimplyCLICK vs Competitors
| SimplyCLICK SBI Card | Cashback SBI Card | Amazon Pay ICICI | SimplySAVE SBI Card | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Annual fee | ₹499 | ₹999 | Nil (lifetime free) | ₹499 |
| Fee waiver | ₹1 lakh spend | ₹2 lakh spend | Not applicable | ₹1 lakh spend |
| Headline earn | 2.5% at 11 partner brands | 5% on eligible online spends | 5% on Amazon for Prime members, 3% without | 1.67% on dining, movies, grocery, departmental stores |
| Other online | 1.25% | 5% | 1% to 2% | 0.17% |
| Offline | 0.25% | 1% | 1% | 0.17% |
| Reward form | Points, 4 = ₹1 | Direct cashback | Amazon Pay balance | Points, 4 = ₹1 |
| Lounge access | None | None | None | None |
| Monthly cap | 10,000 RP per bucket | Capped — see note | Uncapped on Amazon | 5,000 RP |
How to read this table. Cashback SBI Card beats SimplyCLICK on almost every online rupee, but costs twice as much, and demands double the spend for its waiver and SBI revised its cashback caps in April 2026, so check the current cap before choosing it.
Amazon Pay ICICI is free forever and unbeatable if your online life is Amazon-shaped, which is exactly the gap SimplyCLICK doesn’t cover. SimplySAVE is the same fee and the same issuer, aimed at the opposite spender: it rewards offline grocery, dining and movie spends where SimplyCLICK pays 0.25%.
The genuine case for SimplyCLICK is narrow but real: you shop at Myntra, Swiggy, BookMyShow, Domino’s or Tata CliQ often enough that 2.5% on those brands plus ₹4,000 of travel vouchers beats a flat cashback card’s simplicity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the SimplyCLICK SBI Card annual fee waived?
The ₹499 renewal fee is reversed if you spend ₹1,00,000 or more in the previous card anniversary year. That’s ₹8,334 a month across all spends. The first-year joining fee of ₹499 is not waivable, but the ₹500 Amazon welcome voucher effectively offsets it.
Does SimplyCLICK give 10X points on Amazon?
No. Amazon is not on the current exclusive partner list. Amazon purchases earn the standard online rate of 5 Reward Points per ₹100, or 1.25% back. Flipkart is also not a partner.
How many lounge visits does the SimplyCLICK SBI Card give?
Zero. This card has no complimentary domestic or international lounge access at any spend level.
What is the minimum salary for the SimplyCLICK SBI Card?
SBI Card does not publish a minimum income figure for this card. Around ₹18,000 a month is the figure most commonly quoted, but approval depends on SBI Card’s internal credit assessment, not on income alone.
What is one SimplyCLICK Reward Point worth?
₹0.25: four points make ₹1. Subtract the ₹99 redemption fee on statement credit, physical products and physically dispatched vouchers, and the effective value on a small redemption is closer to ₹0.20.
Do SimplyCLICK Reward Points expire?
Yes, 24 months after they are earned. Unredeemed points are forfeited on the last day of the 24th month.
Which spends earn nothing on this card?
Rent, fuel, wallet loads, government payments, digital gaming merchants, cash advances, balance transfers, Encash, Flexipay, and utility bill payments made through the SBI Card website or app.
SimplyCLICK vs SimplySAVE: which is better?
SimplyCLICK if your spending is online and concentrated at its partner brands. SimplySAVE if your spending is offline it pays 10 points per ₹150 on dining, movies, grocery and departmental stores, roughly 1.67% back. Same ₹499 fee, same ₹1 lakh waiver, opposite use case.
Is SimplyCLICK a good first credit card?
It’s a reasonable one; the income bar is low, and the fee is recoverable in year one through the welcome voucher. But if you want simplicity over optimisation, a lifetime-free card with a flat rate will teach you the same habits without a ₹1 lakh spend target hanging over you.
Bottom Line
The SimplyCLICK SBI Card earns its ₹499 for a specific person: someone doing roughly ₹8,000 to ₹15,000 a month online, with a meaningful share of it at Myntra, Swiggy, BookMyShow, Domino’s, Cleartrip, Yatra or Tata CliQ, who pays in full every month and actually books travel through Cleartrip or Yatra.
For that person, 2.5% on partner spends plus ₹4,000 of milestone vouchers plus a waived fee is a return of roughly 3.5% on ₹1 lakh of annual spend, good value at this price point.
Skip it if your online spending is mostly Amazon or Flipkart (get the Amazon Pay ICICI Card instead, and it costs you nothing).
Skip it if most of your spending happens offline; 0.25% is not a reward rate, and SimplySAVE serves you better at the same fee. Skip it if you want lounge access, insurance cover, or any international usefulness, none of which this card has.
And skip it if you carry a balance: at 45% a year, no reward rate on any entry-level card survives contact with revolving interest.
Fees, partner brands and reward terms are as of 02 August 2026 and change frequently. Verify current terms in SBI Card’s MITC and the SimplyCLICK Reward Points T&C before applying.
