| Joining Fee | ₹4,999 + GST (₹5,899 all-in) |
| Annual Fee | ₹4,999 + GST from the second year, no spend based reversal |
| Best Suited For | Regular IndiGo flyers spending ₹3 lakh or more a year |
| Reward Type | IndiGo BluChips, credited to your IndiGo BluChip account |
Launched in September 2025, this is the top of IndiGo’s co-branded range with SBI, and it is priced accordingly at ₹4,999. What separates it from the entry IndiGo card is not the earn rate so much as the renewal benefit: you get 5,000 BluChips back every year you pay the fee, which recovers a large share of it before you have spent a rupee. Add 14 lounge visits a year and four milestone vouchers, and the card makes sense for anyone flying IndiGo monthly. It makes no sense at all for anyone who does not.
Rewards & Benefits
Reward rate and earn structure
| Spend category | Earn rate | Cap |
|---|---|---|
| IndiGo app and website | 7 BluChips per ₹100 | None published |
| Hotel, lodging and travel merchant categories | 3 BluChips per ₹100 | None published |
| All other spends | 2 BluChips per ₹100 | None published |
The exclusion list on the base rate matters more than the rate itself. Utility payments, government transactions, rent, fuel, gaming, cross-sell and insurance categories earn nothing at all. Between them those cover a large share of many households’ card spending, so read that list carefully before assuming your ₹1 lakh a month all earns 2 BluChips per ₹100. BluChips are credited to your IndiGo BluChip account on every statement cycle.
Welcome, renewal and milestone benefits
| Benefit | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 5,000 BluChips voucher and 1 6E Eats voucher | Annual fee payment plus first transaction within 60 days of opening |
| 4 6E Prime passes | ₹1,00,000 spend within 90 days of opening |
| 5,000 BluChips voucher and 1 6E Eats voucher | Every year, on annual fee payment |
| 6,000 BluChips voucher, four separate times | ₹3 lakh, ₹6 lakh, ₹9 lakh and ₹12 lakh of annual spend |
The renewal benefit is the quiet star here. Most premium cards give you a welcome bonus once and then charge you the same fee every year for nothing. This one repeats the 5,000 BluChips and the 6E Eats voucher annually, which changes the arithmetic of holding it long term. The milestones are cumulative across the year, so a flyer spending ₹12 lakh collects all four 6,000 BluChip vouchers, not just the last one.
Lounge access
| Lounge type | Visits per year | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic | 8 | Max 2 per quarter, and requires ₹1,00,000 spend in the previous quarter |
| International | 6 | Max 2 per quarter |
Read the domestic condition twice. Those eight visits are not free with the card, they are earned by spending ₹1 lakh in the preceding quarter. Miss the spend in one quarter and you lose that quarter’s two visits. The six international visits carry no such spend condition.
Insurance and fuel
| Free flight cancellations | 4 per year, each up to ₹3,000 |
| Lost card liability | Up to ₹1,00,000 |
| Lost baggage cover | Up to ₹75,000 |
| Fuel surcharge waiver | 1% on transactions of ₹500 to ₹4,000, maximum ₹400 per statement cycle |
Four free cancellations a year at ₹3,000 each is worth up to ₹12,000 and is genuinely useful on an airline card, since IndiGo’s own cancellation charges bite hardest on cheap fares booked early.
Fees & Charges
| Joining fee | ₹4,999 + GST |
| All-in first year cost | ₹5,899 |
| Renewal fee, per annum | ₹4,999 + GST from the second year |
| Spend based fee reversal | None published |
| Add-on card fee, per annum | Nil |
| Fuel surcharge waiver | 1% on ₹500 to ₹4,000, max ₹400 per statement cycle |
GST of 18% takes the real cost to ₹5,899 in year one and again every year after. There is no spend threshold that removes it, which is unusual at this price and means you should judge the card on whether the benefits beat ₹5,899 annually. The renewal package of 5,000 BluChips plus a 6E Eats voucher is the main offset, and how far it goes depends entirely on what BluChips are worth to you on IndiGo fares.
The charge that catches people out is the quarterly lounge condition rather than a fee. Cardholders assume eight domestic visits are included, spend ₹60,000 in a quiet quarter, and find the lounge turns them away. Interest rates, forex markup and cash advance charges are set out in SBI Card’s Most Important Terms and Conditions for this product.
Eligibility & Documents Required
SBI does not publish an income floor, age band or credit score cut-off for this card. At a ₹4,999 fee it sits in SBI’s premium tier, so expect the underwriting to be stricter than on entry cards. The card is open for online application. Keep ready your PAN, proof of identity, proof of current address, and either recent salary slips or the last two years of income tax returns if you are self-employed. You will also want an IndiGo BluChip account, since that is where your rewards are delivered.
Pros & Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| 5,000 BluChips and a 6E Eats voucher every year on renewal | ₹5,899 a year with no spend based reversal |
| 7 BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo bookings | Domestic lounge visits require ₹1 lakh spend each quarter |
| Four milestone vouchers of 6,000 BluChips each | Utility, rent, fuel, government and insurance spends earn nothing |
| 4 free flight cancellations a year worth up to ₹3,000 each | Rewards are locked to IndiGo |
Indigo Elite SBI Card vs Competitors
| Card | Annual fee | Lounge visits per year |
|---|---|---|
| Indigo Elite SBI Card | ₹4,999 | 8 domestic on spend condition, 6 international |
| IndiGo SBI Card | Lower | Fewer |
| SBI Card Miles Elite | Charged annually | Domestic and international |
Against the entry IndiGo SBI Card, the Elite is worth the step up only if you clear ₹3 lakh a year and fly IndiGo enough to spend the BluChips. If you fly several airlines, SBI Card Miles Elite earns a currency you can move around rather than one tied to a single carrier.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Indigo Elite SBI Card annual fee waived on spends?
No. SBI publishes no spend based reversal for this card. You pay ₹4,999 + GST, which is ₹5,899, in the first year and every year afterwards.
How many lounge visits does the Indigo Elite SBI Card give?
Eight domestic visits a year, capped at two per quarter and conditional on spending ₹1,00,000 in the previous quarter, plus six international visits a year capped at two per quarter with no spend condition.
What do I get on renewal every year?
A 5,000 IndiGo BluChips voucher and one 6E Eats voucher, on payment of the annual fee. Unlike most premium cards, this benefit repeats annually rather than only at joining.
Which spends do not earn BluChips?
Utility, government transactions, rent, fuel, gaming, cross-sell and insurance merchant categories are excluded from the 2 BluChips per ₹100 base rate.
How do the milestone benefits work?
You receive a 6,000 BluChips voucher at each of ₹3 lakh, ₹6 lakh, ₹9 lakh and ₹12 lakh of annual spend. They are separate awards, so reaching ₹12 lakh earns all four.
What is the fuel surcharge waiver?
1% on transactions between ₹500 and ₹4,000 at any petrol pump in India, capped at ₹400 per statement cycle per card account.
Bottom Line
Get this card if you fly IndiGo most months and spend at least ₹3 lakh a year on the card. The repeating 5,000 BluChip renewal benefit, four milestone vouchers and four free cancellations turn a ₹5,899 fee into a reasonable trade, and 7 BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo bookings is the best rate on offer for that airline.
Skip it if your spending sits mainly in utilities, rent, fuel or insurance, because none of those earn anything on this card. Skip it too if you cannot reliably spend ₹1 lakh a quarter, since the domestic lounge access quietly disappears in any quarter you fall short, and without it a ₹5,899 fee with no reversal becomes hard to justify.
