MakeMyTrip ICICI Credit Card Goes Zero Forex From 10 November 2026, But International Spends Stop Earning myCash
Updated 15 October 2026 · By Amit Kumar Bansal
ICICI Bank has updated the terms of the MakeMyTrip ICICI Bank Credit Card. From 10 November 2026 the card charges no forex mark-up and no Dynamic Currency Conversion fee.
On the same date, international spends outside MakeMyTrip stop earning myCash, and newly earned myCash gets a 24-month expiry.
What Changes on 10 November 2026
| Item | From 10 November 2026 |
|---|---|
| Forex mark-up | Nil |
| Dynamic Currency Conversion fee | Nil |
| International spends outside MakeMyTrip | No myCash |
| myCash validity | 24 months for myCash earned from 10 November; older myCash never expires |
| Hotel / flight bookings on MakeMyTrip | 6% / 3% myCash, no cap (unchanged) |
What This Means for You
This is mostly good news for travellers. Paying abroad or on foreign websites will no longer cost a mark-up, which beats most cards that earn points but charge forex fees.
The trade-off is that those spends will earn nothing. Domestic spends outside MakeMyTrip still earn 1% myCash, excluding rent and EMI.
Use your myCash within 2 years from now on. The changes do not apply to the older MakeMyTrip ICICI Signature and Platinum cards. ICICI has not given the current mark-up in the updated terms, so we have not listed it.
Terms as shown in ICICI Bank’s MITC and the MakeMyTrip ICICI card terms PDF on 15 October 2026. Confirm on the issuer’s site before travelling.
