Annual Fee ₹4,999 + GST (₹5,899 all-in), waived on ₹10 lakh of retail spends in the year
Best Suited For High earners who shop online heavily and redeem points for flights and hotels
Reward Type YES Rewardz Points, worth up to ₹0.25 each on flights and hotels

The YES BANK MARQUEE Credit Card is the bank’s top open-market card, sitting below the invite-led YES Private.

Its headline is 36 YES Rewardz Points per ₹200 spent online, plus a 1% forex markup, 40,000 bonus points when you pay the joining fee, and Priority Pass lounge access.

The point count looks huge, but each point is worth ₹0.25 at most, and only if you book flights or hotels. This review translates every rate into rupees, covers the June 2026 changes to excluded categories, and shows who actually comes out ahead.

Rewards & Benefits

Reward rate and earn structure

Spend Points per ₹200 Value on flights and hotels Value as gift voucher
Online shopping 36 4.5% 2.7%
Offline shopping 18 2.25% 1.35%
Select categories (utilities, cable and streaming) 10 1.25% 0.75%

All earning is capped at 1,00,000 points per statement cycle, which you reach at about ₹5.5 lakh of online spends. Utility bills have their own cap of 1,250 points per cycle.

Since 15 June 2026, no points are earned on rent, wallet loads, fuel, government, marketing and advertising, cash withdrawals, EMI conversions, insurance, education, railways, tolls or ferries.

YES BANK sorts spends by Merchant Category Code (MCC, the code a shop’s payment carries), so a merchant coded under an excluded category earns nothing.

Redemption and point value

Redeem for Value of 1 point Limit
Flights and hotels ₹0.25 Up to 70% of the booking value
E-gift vouchers ₹0.15 ₹25,000 a month; 50% of available points
Statement credit ₹0.10 50% of available points
Air India Maharaja Club 10 points = 1 Air Mile Monthly cap applies

You need at least 2,000 points to redeem, each request costs ₹100 + GST, flight bookings add a ₹99 + GST convenience fee, and points last 36 months.

Total redemption is capped at 3,00,000 points a month. The gap between ₹0.25 and ₹0.10 is the whole story: ₹1 lakh of online spending earns 18,000 points, worth ₹4,500 in travel but only ₹1,800 as statement credit.

Welcome and renewal benefits

Joining benefit 40,000 points (₹10,000 in travel) plus an ET Prime voucher, after you pay the joining fee by the due date

The ₹10 lakh renewal waiver works out to about ₹83,400 a month in retail spends. Below that, the ₹5,899 renewal fee comes back as 20,000 points, worth ₹5,000 only if you book travel.

The rule that catches people out is the domestic lounge condition. Visits in a quarter depend on ₹1 lakh of spends in the previous quarter, excluding fees, rent and wallet loads. Miss it and the lounge charges you per visit.
