Standard Chartered Super Value Titanium: 5% Cashback Caps Now Run Per Statement Cycle, Not Per Month
Updated 10 October 2026 · By Amit Kumar Bansal
Standard Chartered has changed how it words the 5% cashback caps on the Super Value Titanium Credit Card. The caps are now “per statement cycle” instead of “per month”. The rupee amounts are unchanged, as shown on the bank’s page on 10 October 2026.
What’s Changing
| 5% cashback on | Earlier | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Fuel (₹2,000 or below) | Up to ₹200 per month | Up to ₹200 per statement cycle |
| Telephone bills (above ₹750) | ₹200 per month | ₹200 per statement cycle |
| Utility bills (min ₹750) | ₹100 per month | ₹100 per statement cycle |
What This Means for You
The ₹100-per-transaction limit stays. Your cashback now resets with your billing cycle, not the calendar month, so a bill paid on either side of your statement date can fall in a different cap window.
The card’s annual fee is ₹750 in the first year and on renewal. A line offering balance transfer up to ₹5,00,000 was also removed from the page; the bank has not said it withdrew that facility, so confirm with Standard Chartered.
