Amazon Great Indian Festival Starts 8 October With 10% Instant Discount on SBI Cards

Amazon has put up its Great Indian Festival 2026 banner, and the sale opens on 8 October 2026. The bank offer named on that banner is a 10% instant discount on SBI debit cards, SBI credit cards and SBI credit card EMI. Prime members are promised up to 10% extra benefit on top.

What This Means for You
Both the 10% and the Prime line carry an asterisk, and Amazon has not yet published the per-transaction cap, the minimum spend or the sale’s closing date those usually appear a day or two before the sale opens.
Several outlets reported on 21 September that eligible HDFC Bank credit cards and Easy EMI get the same 10%, but Amazon’s banner names only SBI right now, so treat HDFC as unconfirmed. If a phone or appliance is on your list, waiting until 8 October is the cheaper move.
