The Indus Solitaire Credit Card is the card IndusInd Bank attaches to its Indus Solitaire premium banking programme.
It costs ₹30,000 + GST to join and ₹10,000 + GST a year after that, and in return it gives a year of Taj Epicure Preferred membership, zero forex markup, 4 international lounge visits a quarter and a waived late payment fee.
The reward rate is the weak point: 1 point per ₹100, worth 0.5% back. Since July 2026, domestic lounge visits also need ₹5 lakh of spending in the previous quarter. Here is what the card is worth in rupees.
Rewards & Benefits
Reward rate and earn structure
| Spend | Reward Points per ₹100 | Value back |
|---|---|---|
| All eligible retail spends, India and abroad | 1 | 0.5% |
| Utility bills, insurance, government services, education, real estate and rent | 0.7 | 0.35% |
| Fuel | 0 | Nil |
IndusInd Bank publishes no monthly cap on points for this card, but the rate is flat: there is no accelerated category and no annual milestone bonus.
IndusInd sorts spends by Merchant Category Code (MCC, the code attached to a merchant’s payments), so a bill paid through an app can still fall into the lower 0.7 point bucket.
Redemption and point value
You redeem on IndusMoments. Cash credit and gift vouchers both value a point at ₹0.50. Air miles convert at 5 points to 4 miles with partner airlines such as Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer.
Cash redemption carries a ₹149 fee and other redemptions ₹100, so ₹10 lakh of spending earns about 10,000 points, worth ₹5,000 as cash credit before that fee.
Welcome benefits
| Benefit | What you get |
|---|---|
| Bonus Reward Points | 5,000 points (₹2,500 as cash credit, or 4,000 air miles) on ₹1 lakh of spends within 30 days of card issue, first year only |
| Taj Epicure Preferred, 1 year | 1 night stay with breakfast for two, 2 room upgrade vouchers, 2 set meals for two, one 60-minute spa treatment, and up to 25% off stays, dining and spa |
| EazyDiner Prime, 1 year | 25% to 50% off at partner restaurants, 2X EazyPoints and 2,000 joining EazyPoints |
| Moneycontrol Pro | Complimentary membership on enrolment |
The Taj and EazyDiner memberships are issued only after the joining fee is paid in full, and both last one year.
The complimentary Club ITC Culinaire membership on the Mastercard variant was discontinued from 5 October 2025.

| Benefit | Allowance |

| International lounges (LoungeKey) | 4 visits a quarter, for the primary and each add-on cardholder |
| Domestic lounges | 4 visits a quarter, only if you spent ₹5 lakh in the previous quarter |
| Guest lounge visits | Up to USD 35 per guest per visit |
| Golf (Mastercard World Elite) | 12 rounds and 12 lessons a year, at most 3 of each a quarter |
| Global data roaming | 3 GB Flexiroam plan for 10 days, once a year |
| Overseas medical cover | Up to USD 25,000 |
| Lost baggage / passport | ₹1,00,000 / ₹50,000 |
| Delayed baggage, lost ticket, missed connection | ₹25,000 each |

Fees & Charges
| Item | Charge |
|---|---|
| Joining fee | ₹30,000 + GST |
| Annual fee | ₹10,000 + GST, waived on ₹10 lakh of spends (primary and add-on) in the previous card year |
| Add-on card | Nil |
| Foreign currency markup | Nil |
| Dynamic currency conversion fee | Not applicable |
| Interest | 3.83% a month, 46% a year |
| Late payment | Waived |
| Cash advance | 2.5% of the amount, minimum ₹300 |
| Over-limit | 2.5% of the over-limit amount, minimum ₹500 |
| Rent, fuel and transport fees | Not levied on this card |
| Utility payments | 1% + GST on utility spends above ₹25,000 a statement cycle |
| Wallet loads | 1% + GST above ₹20,000 a statement cycle |
| Education via third-party apps | 1% + GST above ₹45,000 a statement cycle |
| Fuel surcharge | 1% waiver at fuel stations across India |
| GST | 18% on fees, interest and charges |
The ₹10 lakh waiver works out to about ₹83,300 a month, and add-on spends count. At that level you would also want the domestic lounges, which need ₹5 lakh a quarter, or ₹20 lakh a year, so the two targets do not line up.
The charge that catches people out is the joining fee itself. ₹35,400 all-in is paid upfront, and the 5,000 welcome points return only ₹2,500 of it.
The rest has to come from the Taj and EazyDiner memberships, which pay off only if you actually stay and dine at participating places.
Eligibility & Documents Required
The card is issued under IndusInd Bank’s Indus Solitaire banking programme, so it is meant for customers who hold or qualify for that relationship.
IndusInd Bank’s product page does not publish a minimum income, age or relationship value for the card, and the exact fee is also confirmed at application, so ask your relationship manager or check the issuer’s site before applying. Expect to share PAN, address proof and income documents, and complete KYC.
Pros & Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Zero forex markup and no DCC fee | ₹30,000 + GST joining fee |
| 4 international lounge visits a quarter, add-ons included | Only 0.5% back on spends |
| Late payment fee waived | Domestic lounges need ₹5 lakh a quarter |
| One year of Taj Epicure Preferred and EazyDiner Prime | No milestone or accelerated rewards |
Indus Solitaire vs Competitors
| Card | Annual fee | Fee waived at |
|---|---|---|
| Indus Solitaire | ₹10,000 + GST (₹30,000 + GST joining) | ₹10 lakh |
| HDFC Diners Club Black | ₹10,000 + GST | ₹5 lakh |
| AURUM SBI Card | ₹9,999 + GST | ₹12 lakh |
Both rivals charge about the same yearly fee without a ₹30,000 entry ticket, and our HDFC Diners Club Black review shows it waiving its fee at half the spend.
Indus Solitaire is the better pick only for heavy foreign spenders, thanks to its zero markup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Indus Solitaire annual fee waived?
Yes, the ₹10,000 + GST annual fee is waived if primary and add-on cards together spend ₹10 lakh in the previous card year. The ₹30,000 + GST joining fee is never waived under the published terms.
How many lounge visits does Indus Solitaire give?
4 international visits a quarter through LoungeKey, plus 4 domestic visits a quarter if you spent ₹5 lakh in the previous quarter. Add-on cardholders get their own international allowance.
What is the forex markup on Indus Solitaire?
Zero. IndusInd Bank’s MITC also exempts this card from the dynamic currency conversion fee.
What is an Indus Solitaire reward point worth?
₹0.50 as cash credit or vouchers, or 0.8 air miles. A ₹149 fee applies to cash redemptions.
Does Indus Solitaire charge a late payment fee?
No. The MITC waives it for this card, but 46% a year interest still applies to any unpaid balance.
Bottom Line
Get the Indus Solitaire Credit Card if you are already an Indus Solitaire banking customer, spend heavily abroad and will use a Taj night, spa and set meals in the first year.
Zero forex markup and 4 international lounge visits a quarter are real value at that level.
Skip it if your spending is mostly in India, because 0.5% back is low for a ₹35,400 card, and skip it if you want free domestic lounges without spending ₹5 lakh a quarter. Most people get more from a card with no joining fee.
