Updated 24 September 2026 · By Amit Kumar Bansal
Axis Bank has cut the joining fee on the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card to nil as a limited-period offer, just ahead of Flipkart’s Big Billion Days, which opens on 9 October with early access on 8 October. The ₹500 + GST annual fee still applies from the second year.
The Offer at a Glance
| Detail | As shown on Axis Bank’s page |
|---|---|
| Joining fee | Nil (limited period offer); normally ₹500 + GST |
| Annual fee | ₹500 + GST from year 2, waived on ₹3,50,000 annual spends |
| Cashback | 7.5% Myntra, 5% Flipkart and Cleartrip (each capped at ₹4,000 a quarter), 4% preferred merchants |
| Catch | First-year-free cards do not get the ₹250 Flipkart welcome voucher |
| Valid till | Not stated by Axis; reported as 31 October 2026 |
What This Means for You
If you shop on Flipkart or Myntra every month, a free first year removes the only reason to hesitate. You give up the ₹250 voucher but keep ₹500 plus GST in your pocket.
Before year two, check whether you will cross ₹3.5 lakh in spends, because rent and wallet loads do not count. Axis has not published an end date, so apply early if you want the card in hand before the sale.
Fees and benefits as shown on the Axis Bank page on 24 September 2026. Offer end date as reported by CardInsider. Confirm on the issuer’s site before applying.
