ICICI Rubyx Lounge Access Halved for Dual-Variant Cardholders: 2 Visits a Quarter Instead of 4

ICICI Bank has halved the airport lounge entitlement for Rubyx cardholders who carry both variants of the card. The lounge FAQ on the Rubyx page, which until 15 September gave dual-variant holders 2 domestic lounge visits a quarter for each variant, now reads 1 per variant — 4 visits a quarter become 2. The ₹75,000 preceding-quarter spend condition and the ₹3,000 + GST joining fee are unchanged.

What This Means for You
Only dual-variant Rubyx holders are hit, and they lose 8 domestic lounge visits a year. Single-variant holders are unaffected the benefits block still shows 2 quarterly visits, and railway lounge and golf benefits are untouched. ICICI has issued no announcement and named no effective date; the wording simply changed on 16 September 2026. If you were counting on four visits this quarter, confirm with ICICI Bank before you travel.
