Federal Bank and Paisabazaar have launched the Paisaback RuPay Credit Card, a cashback card built for grocery spends. It was unveiled with NPCI at the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai on 14 September 2026. It pays 7.5% back at supermarkets and quick-commerce apps, for a ₹500 + GST fee that is waived on ₹1.5 lakh of yearly spends.

What This Means for You
The ₹1,000 cap is reached at about ₹13,300 of grocery spends a month, so bigger bills earn nothing extra. A family spending ₹10,000 a month on groceries gets ₹750 back, about ₹9,000 a year, against a ₹500 fee. Cashback comes as Cash Points that expire after one year.
