Jupiter Edge+ Devalued: 50% Shopping Jewels Need Over ₹15,000 Cycle Spend From 10 October 2026
Updated 13 September 2026 · By Amit Kumar Bansal
Jupiter has added a spend condition to the Edge+ CSB Bank RuPay Credit Card. From 10 October 2026, the 50% Jewels on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and the other listed shopping brands are paid in full only when your statement-cycle spends are greater than ₹15,000. Below that, those purchases earn just 5% Jewels.
What’s Changing
| Benefit | Till 9 Oct 2026 | From 10 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Shopping brands | 50% Jewels | 50% only if cycle spends are above ₹15,000, else 5% |
| Shopping caps | 10,000 a cycle, 3,000 a merchant, 1,000 a transaction | Unchanged |
| Jupiter Flights | 25% Jewels, 5,000 cap | Unchanged |
| Other spends | 5% Jewels | Unchanged |
What This Means for You
Only 5% Jewels now land instantly. The other 45% arrive at cycle end, and they are cancelled if you stay at or below ₹15,000. At ₹0.20 a Jewel (vouchers, flights, Jupiter Store), 50% Jewels is 10% back; as statement credit (₹0.14) it is 7%. Miss the target and the same order returns about 1%. Spending exactly ₹15,000 does not count. If you used this card only for a few shopping orders a month, move them to another card.
Alternatives we have reviewed: Flipkart SBI Card and Cashback SBI Card.
