Reward TypeDirect cashback on Titan brands + SBI Reward Points, redeemable only as Titan vouchers

Almost every credit card in India quietly excludes jewellery from its rewards programme, or caps it so tightly that a ₹2 lakh Tanishq bill earns you the same as a ₹2,000 grocery run. The Titan SBI Card, launched in March 2024 as Titan’s first co-branded card, is built on exactly that gap: it pays 3% back on Tanishq, 5% on Mia, CaratLane and Zoya, and 7.5% on the eight non-jewellery Titan brands. Outside the Titan universe it becomes an ordinary 1.5% card whose points can only be spent back at Titan. That single fact decides whether this card is worth ₹3,539 to you.

Rewards & Benefits

Reward rate & earn structure

The card runs two parallel systems: direct cashback on Titan brands and reward points on everything else.

Where you spendWhat you getQuarterly cap
Tanishq3% back as Tanishq gift vouchers₹25,000
Mia, CaratLane, Zoya5% cashback₹10,000
World of Titan, Taneira, Titan Eye+, Helios, Fastrack, Skinn, Irth, Sonata7.5% cashback₹10,000
Everything else6 Reward Points per ₹100 (= 1.5% value back)[VERIFY: a cap of 6,000 points per cycle is reported but unconfirmed]
UPI payments at participating Titan stores (RuPay variant)6 Reward Points per ₹100Same as above

Cashback on the non-Tanishq Titan brands is credited automatically within five working days of your next statement. Tanishq spends do not pay cash. They pay Tanishq gift vouchers, which is a meaningful difference if you were hoping to offset your bill.

Three exclusions to know before you plan around this card:

  • No rewards at all on fuel, wallet loads, property rent and utility payments.
  • No benefit on any transaction below ₹100.
  • No value back on Plan of Purchase instalments at Tanishq. The monthly savings-scheme payments earn nothing, only the final purchase does.

Titan advertises “annual benefits up to ₹2 lakh”. The arithmetic behind that number: hitting all three quarterly caps at once requires roughly ₹11.7 lakh of Titan spending per quarter, or about ₹47 lakh a year. Treat ₹2 lakh as a ceiling nobody reaches, not a target.

Redemption options & point value

One Reward Point is worth ₹0.25, and the only door out is Titan vouchers. There is no statement credit, no airline transfer, no general merchandise catalogue. Jewellery vouchers redeem only in Tanishq, Mia or Zoya stores; vouchers for the other Titan brands work both in-store and online, except Titan Eye+, which is in-store only.

This is the card’s real cost. A 1.5% return that must be spent at Titan is worth 1.5% only if you were going to buy a Fastrack watch anyway. If you weren’t, it’s worth whatever you’d pay for a Titan gift card you didn’t want.

Welcome benefit

Pay the ₹2,999 joining fee and you receive 12,000 Reward Points worth ₹3,000. On paper that cancels the fee. In practice it cancels ₹2,999 of it and leaves the ₹540 GST unpaid for, and it hands you ₹3,000 of Titan credit rather than ₹3,000 of money, so the welcome benefit is only a wash if Titan was already on your shopping list.

Milestone benefits

Annual spendReward
₹3,00,000Renewal fee of ₹2,999 reversed
₹5,00,000E-voucher worth ₹5,000
₹10,00,000Additional e-voucher worth ₹10,000

At each milestone you choose between a Titan jewellery e-voucher and an e-voucher for the other Titan brands. These thresholds are high. Most ₹2,999 cards put their milestone at ₹1–5 lakh, and this one puts its bigger prize at ₹10 lakh. The ₹10 lakh voucher is a benefit for people making big-ticket jewellery purchases, not for people using the card for daily spending.

Dining benefits

None. There is no dining programme, no restaurant discount, and no accelerated rate on restaurant spends. Dining earns the base 6 Reward Points per ₹100 like any other category. For a ₹2,999 card this is a real gap.

Travel benefits

Also none, beyond lounge access. No hotel memberships, no travel vouchers, no golf, no movie tickets. The card is single-purpose by design.

Airport lounge access (domestic / international)

This is the one area where the Titan SBI Card outperforms most co-branded cards.

VisitsCap
Domestic lounges (India)8 per yearMax 2 per quarter
International lounges (outside India, via Priority Pass)4 per yearMax 2 per quarter

Complimentary Priority Pass membership is included. Two things to note carefully:

Which lounges. From 10 January 2026, SBI Card split its domestic lounge network into two lists. The Titan SBI Card sits in Set B, the larger of the two, with roughly 30 participating lounges, including Delhi T1 and T3, Mumbai T1B and T2, Bengaluru T1 and T2, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, Cochin, Jaipur, Indore, Chandigarh and Pune. Access is by swiping the card at the lounge POS, with no spend condition attached.

Priority Pass is for outside India only. The four complimentary international visits count only at lounges physically outside India. Using Priority Pass at a domestic lounge, or at an international terminal within India, is charged at roughly US $27 plus taxes per person, guests included.

Insurance & protection covers

The card carries no complimentary air accident or travel insurance. SBI Card withdrew air accident cover across its portfolio in July–August 2025 and introduced no replacement. [VERIFY: a ₹1 lakh cyber/card-fraud cover was listed in the card’s 2024 literature; confirm whether it still applies.]

Fees & Charges

All figures below are exclusive of GST; 18% GST applies on top of every fee and charge.

Joining & annual fee, and how to get it waived

FeeAmount
Joining fee₹2,999 + GST (₹3,539 total in year one)
Renewal fee₹2,999 + GST every year
Fee reversalOn annual spends of ₹3,00,000 in the preceding membership year
Add-on card feeNil

The waiver applies only to the renewal fee, and only on active cards at the time the renewal fee is charged. ₹3,00,000 a year works out to ₹25,000 a month, achievable if this is your primary card, but note that fuel, rent, wallet loads and utilities still count toward the spend threshold even though they earn no rewards.

Forex markup

3.5% + GST on every foreign-currency transaction. That is roughly ₹4.13 on every ₹100 spent abroad once GST is added. This card should not leave the country with you; a 3.5% markup wipes out any reward you earn on the same spend several times over.

Interest rate & finance charges

3.75% per month, which is 45% per annum, charged from the transaction date on any balance you carry forward and on all cash advances from day one. The interest-free period runs 20–50 days and only applies if the previous month’s total was cleared in full.

Late payment charges follow SBI Card’s standard slab:

Outstanding balanceLate fee
Up to ₹500Nil
₹500 – ₹1,000₹400
₹1,000 – ₹10,000₹750
₹10,000 – ₹25,000₹950
₹25,000 – ₹50,000₹1,100
Above ₹50,000₹1,300

Fuel surcharge waiver

1% surcharge waiver on fuel transactions between ₹500 and ₹3,000. [VERIFY: confirm the monthly waiver cap; SBI’s mid-range cards typically cap it at ₹100 per statement cycle.] Remember that fuel spends earn no reward points on this card, so the waiver is the only benefit fuel gives you.

Cash advance & other charges

ChargeAmount
Cash advance (domestic ATM)2.5% of the amount, minimum ₹500
Cash advance (international ATM)3% of the amount, minimum ₹300 [VERIFY]
Utility payments above ₹50,000 in a billing cycle1% of the total utility amount
Payment dishonour2% of the payment amount, subject to a minimum

Cash advances attract the full 45% p.a. finance charge from the withdrawal date with no interest-free window.

Eligibility & Documents Required

SBI Card does not publish a fixed income figure for this card, and approval is at its discretion based on your income, credit history and existing relationship.

The honest comparison: if your Titan spending is jewellery-led, the Titan SBI Card wins on rate. If it’s mostly the odd watch or eyewear, Tata Neu Infinity gives you 5% on Titan and Tanishq for half the fee, plus BigBasket, Croma, Westside and Air India Express, and NeuCoins at ₹1 each are easier to spend than Titan vouchers. If you want one card that rewards groceries, dining and movies, SBI Card PRIME is the better ₹2,999.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Titan SBI Card annual fee waived? The ₹2,999 renewal fee is reversed on annual spends of ₹3,00,000 in the preceding membership year. The joining fee is never waived, but the 12,000-point welcome benefit worth ₹3,000 effectively returns it in Titan value. GST at 18% is charged on the fee regardless and is not reversed.

How many lounge visits does the Titan SBI Card give? Eight domestic visits per year, capped at two per quarter, plus four international visits per year through Priority Pass, also capped at two per quarter. Domestic access is limited to SBI Card’s Set B lounge list, around 30 lounges as of 10 January 2026.

What is the minimum salary for the Titan SBI Card? SBI Card does not publish an income threshold for this card. Approval depends on your income, credit score and profile. Given the ₹2,999 fee and ₹3 lakh waiver requirement, it is positioned at mid-to-upper income applicants.

How much cashback do I get on Tanishq? 3% of your Tanishq spend, paid as Tanishq gift vouchers rather than cash, capped at ₹25,000 per quarter. A ₹2,00,000 Tanishq purchase returns ₹6,000 in vouchers.

Can I redeem Titan SBI Card reward points for cash or statement credit? No. Reward points on this card convert only into Titan vouchers at ₹0.25 per point. There is no statement credit, airline transfer or general catalogue option.

Does the Titan SBI Card earn rewards on online Titan purchases? The programme is built around in-store spends and SBI Card has not clearly confirmed whether online purchases at these brands earn the same accelerated rates. If you plan to buy online, confirm with SBI Card customer service first.

Which spends earn no rewards on the Titan SBI Card? Fuel, wallet loads, property rent and utility payments earn nothing. Transactions below ₹100 earn nothing. Plan of Purchase instalments at Tanishq earn nothing.

What is the interest rate on the Titan SBI Card? 3.75% per month, which works out to 45% per annum, applied from the transaction date on any revolved balance and on all cash advances immediately.

Is the Titan SBI Card good for international spending? No. The 3.5% forex markup, plus GST, is among the higher rates in the market and eliminates any reward value on overseas spends.

Bottom Line

Get this card if you spend at least ₹1.5–2 lakh a year at Tanishq, Zoya, Mia or CaratLane, already hold a stronger card for groceries, dining and online shopping, and are comfortable receiving your rewards as Titan store credit. For a family buying jewellery around a wedding, a single ₹5 lakh Tanishq bill returns ₹15,000 in vouchers, five times the fee, in a category almost every other card in India ignores.

Skip this card if your Titan spending is occasional, a watch here, a pair of glasses there. At ₹3,539 in year one, the maths only works with volume. Skip it if you want rewards you can convert into cash or flights; everything here is locked into Titan. Skip it if you want a single do-everything card at ₹2,999. SBI Card PRIME or Tata Neu Infinity give you broader coverage, the latter at less than half the fee. And skip it if you spend meaningfully abroad, where the 3.5% markup makes it one of the worse cards to carry.

The Titan SBI Card is a specialist tool. Judged as a jewellery card it’s genuinely good and close to unmatched. Judged as a ₹2,999 lifestyle card, it’s thin.

Fees and features listed here are accurate as of 21 August 2026. Credit card terms change frequently, so confirm current fees, reward rates and caps on SBI Card’s official website and in the Most Important Terms & Conditions document before you apply. Card Jaano does not guarantee approval for any card.
