The IDFC FIRST Wealth Credit Card is a lifetime free Visa Infinite card for people earning ₹36 lakh a year or more. It never charges a joining or annual fee, and it now carries zero forex markup on international spends.

You earn 10X points on dining, travel, international spends and your birthday. Domestic and international lounge visits, golf and movie offers unlock each month you spend ₹20,000.

This review works out what the points are really worth and where the card falls short.

Rewards & Benefits

Reward rate and earn structure

Spend Points per ₹200 Value
Dining, travel, international spends and your birthday 10 1.25%

IDFC publishes no monthly cap on the 10X rate. The only limit is that points are earned on spends up to your credit limit in each billing cycle.

Dining and travel are identified by merchant category code. Food delivery counts as dining, and airlines, hotels and travel agents count as travel.

Redemption and point value

One point is worth ₹0.25. A ₹10,000 restaurant bill earns 500 points, worth ₹125.

You redeem in the FIRST Rewards Gallery in the IDFC FIRST mobile app, including against flights and hotels, where points can pay up to 70% of the booking. Points earned from the July 2026 cycle onwards stay valid for 24 months.

The 8,000-point cap limits the bonus to ₹2,000 a month. Bookings partly paid with points earn no bonus, and the welcome voucher does not apply to UPI or add-on spends.
