IDFC FIRST Business Credit Cards Now Carry Zero Forex Markup, Down From Up to 2%

IDFC FIRST Bank has taken its zero forex markup to its business credit cards. The FIRST Business Credit Card page, which listed a 1.99% markup, and the Micro Enterprise Credit Card page, which listed 2% plus GST, now both say 0%.

The Business Max and Business Multiplier pages also advertise zero forex markup.

What Changed

Card Earlier Now
FIRST Business Credit Card 1.99% 0%
Micro Enterprise Credit Card 2% + GST 0%
Business Max, Business Multiplier Not in our record Zero forex markup
Corporate, Purchase cards 3.5% line on page Line removed, no new rate shown

What This Means for You

A business paying for software, ads or travel abroad on the FIRST Business card saves about ₹2,348 on every ₹1 lakh, the old 1.99% plus GST. Pay in the foreign currency, not rupees, to get the zero rate.

If you hold a Corporate or Purchase card, ask the bank what markup now applies. The pages do not say whether international business spends keep earning reward points. This follows the zero markup IDFC FIRST gave its personal credit cards earlier this month.
