Google Pay Flex Credit Card Rewards Doubled From 16 October 2026: Up to 3.2% Back for Google One Members

Updated 16 October 2026 · By Amit Kumar Bansal

Google Pay has upgraded the rewards on Flex, its co-branded credit card issued with SBI Card and Axis Bank, from 16 October 2026.

Every cardholder’s base rate doubles, and Google One members get double that again: 3.2% back once cycle spends cross ₹15,000. The ₹1,500 cap per reward cycle does not change.

What Changed

Spends in a reward cycle Earlier Now: non-member Now: Google One member
Below ₹15,000 0.4% 0.8% 1.6%
₹15,000 or more (on all spends) 0.8% 1.6% 3.2%
₹3,000+ on bills and recharges – – ₹450 extra
₹5,000+ on food and grocery apps via UPI – – ₹250 extra
Cap per cycle ₹1,500 ₹1,500 ₹1,500

What This Means for You

At ₹25,000 a cycle, a non-member now earns ₹400 in stars instead of ₹200. A Google One member who puts ₹3,000 of bills and ₹5,000 of food orders in that ₹25,000 reaches the full ₹1,500. Stars are worth ₹1 each but work only inside Google Pay, never as cash.

EMI, rent, wallet loads, insurance and jewellery earn nothing. Spend under ₹100 in a cycle and the next cycle pays half these rates. Google One family members miss out, and member rates run till 15 October 2027.

Rates as shown on the Google Pay Flex rewards help page on 16 October 2026. Confirm in the app before planning spends.
