Google Pay Flex Welcome Rewards Raised: Up to ₹2,000 on the Axis Card, ₹2,500 on SBI Card

Update to our 16 October Flex rewards story: Google Pay has also raised the welcome rewards on its Flex credit card.
New applicants can now earn up to ₹2,000 in value on the Axis Bank card and up to ₹2,500 on the SBI Card version. Axis Bank’s own Flex page was updated on 19 October 2026.

What This Means for You
The first payment and the ₹250 gift card both have to happen within 30 days of the card being issued.
The Month 1 bonus needs 3 offline and 2 online payments of at least ₹250 each on Google Pay. Month 2 needs 9 payments of ₹250 across several categories.
Stars are worth ₹1 each, but you can only use them inside Google Pay. Axis’s page banner still says ₹500, so check the app before applying.
